Lady Venomara is the third boss faced in Astro Bot. She is the world boss of the Serpent Starway, and must be accessed with 100 bots.
Appearance[]
Lady Venomara is a large, green robotic snake. She has large eyes with orange pupils and golden eyelids. She has a gold-and-orange-striped cobra's hood, which is lost during the final phase of the battle. She has silver fangs and a light-blue jewel under her chin. She has a golden drill on her tail.
Boss Fight[]
Phase 1[]
In battle, Lady Venomara starts by spitting four green eggs onto the battlefield, which hatch enemies after a while. The player can attack the eggs to break them before they hatch.
Venomara then slams her tail onto the platform, before sweeping it across the battlefield. The player must use the Chicken power-up to jump over her tail.
Venomara then summons three tall stone pillars, before spraying venom onto the battlefield, dissolving the pillars. The player must use the Chicken to climb the pillars and stay in the air until the venom stops.
Finally, Venomara summons five light-blue rings on her tail, before slithering across the battlefield. Once the player attacks all the rings, Venomara will slump over the arena, dazed. The player must hit the jewel under her chin to damage her.
Phase 2[]
Lady Venomara, angered, spits out one of her fangs. She activates her drill and drills out the edges of the battlefield, shrinking the platform to 2/3 of its size.
She then uses her tail-sweeping attack and pillar attack, only creating two pillars instead of three, requiring the player to reach the higher pillar with the Chicken.
Venomara then spits five green eggs onto the battlefield, and immediately drills around the arena again, reducing it to 1/3 of its original size.
Venomara finishes by performing her slither attack again. The player must again the five rings and use the Chicken to hit the jewel again.
Phase 3[]
After being hit twice, Lady Venomara will lie with her head on the platform. The player must grab her tongue and pull her upwards with the Chicken. This sends both Venomara and Astro out of the temple and into a jungle through some ruins, where Venomara slithers away at a fast speed.
The player must run on Venomara's body and reach her head. Venomara spits green eggs which break before reaching Astro and hatch enemies, and indestructible pink eggs that must be jumped over with the Chicken.
Once the player reaches Venomara's head, they must hit the jewel one final time.
The final hit sends both the player and Venomara flying, before she lands at the foot of some mountains, dazed.
