The CPU Kid[1] is a robot internal component for the PlayStation 5 in Astro's Playroom and Astro Bot.
Appearance[]
She has a square face, with a white edge. On her sides, she also has fins. This helps her to maneuver around. She has retractable hands, of which can be seen in Crash Site and in CPU Plaza, when punching Astro Bot. Her back mainly consists of multiple metric parts.
History[]
Astro's Playroom[]
The CPU Chip debuted in Astro’s Playroom. She appears in a glass dome, and acts as a minor character throughout the game. She is responsible for the four main levels appearing for Astro Bot. If the dome is punched, the CPU Chip will punch back, and if the dome is hovered over, the CPU Chip will clean the stain.
Astro Bot[]
The CPU Kid is stolen by Nebulax at the start of the game, with her rescue acting as the character’s main objective throughout the game. She is rescued by Astro Bot during Nebulax’s boss fight, and the CPU Kid saves Astro Bot’s life by giving the repair system a spare heart to revive him.
